Golden Jubilee Message

Greetings of joy and peace to all!

Thank you for being with us at the Golden Jubilee celebration of San Beda College Alabang. I am honored by your presence in this historic moment of our School’s existence. Fifty years of Catholic and Benedictine formation have given us reason to celebrate our school community’s growth and its programs’ expansion. From our humble beginnings offering primary education to the present higher professional courses, we continue to respond to the changes and challenges of the times.

Generations of students, formed in the ideals of Fides, Scientia, et Virtus, have gone through our hallowed halls, classrooms, laboratories and libraries, sports halls, cafeterias, and open spaces to emerge better than they ever have been. Under the instruction and inspiration of their teachers and counselors who teach them Ora et Labora, our graduates give us reason to hope for a better and brighter future for our nation and the world. The progressive facilities we are inaugurating today express our shared dreams for San Beda Alabang as we continue to provide conveniences to all our stakeholders in aid of our educational programs.

As we face this beautiful world with its vagaries and whims, may our holy patron, St Bede, who remained constant in His love for God and neighbor, continue to guide, edify, and inspire us to live out the Benedictine ethos in joy and peace. May our Jubilee celebrations urge us, even more, to prefer nothing to the love of Christ, who is the source of all the good we do – for San Beda, our country, and God!
