Researchers from San Beda College Alabang participated in the Consortium of the South (CotS) Research Congress held last March 3, 2017 at the Bulwagang Dra Rosario Olivarez College, Paranaque City.
Prof. John Paul Domingo presented his research on "Effective and Innovative Teaching Styles of Dance Educators in the Philippines".
Students from the CAS participated in the different research categories, for the (Experimental Research Category) Psychology student Precious Tesorero, presented her research on " Cognitive Exercises and Mental Flexibility among Senior Citizens",
( Quantitative Research ) Psychology student Giancarlo Franciso shared his findings on the "Weight teasing in children: Weight, Sources, Aggression, Anxiety and Coping Strategies"
and for the Qualitative Research Category, International Studies student Alyssa Coline Malabanan discussed " The Benefits Acquired by China from an Economic Relationship with South Africa upon Accession to the WTO"
The Research Congress with this year's theme "Unity and Harmony amidst Diversity through Research Advocacy: A CotS Legacy" was participated by 27 research entries from the 8 different consortium member schools.
