The 2007 Fr. Bellarmine CUP opened November 5 at the SBCA Sports Complex.  The opening ceremonies started with the Parade of Colors, with the participating teams parading with the banners and their muses.  The participating teams and their team colors are:  Grade School (White); High School (Green); College of Arts & Sciences (Red); Services/Finance (Blue); Maintenance (Black); SMS (Orange); and Security (Yellow).

          The Parade of Colors was followed by an invocation lead by Fr. Angelo Ma. S. Legal, OSB and the singing of the National Anthem which was lead by Mr. Reynante P. Izon, P.E./Health and Music Coordinator for the High School Department.  Fr. Anscar J. Chupungco, OSB delivered the opening remarks and extolled the virtues of Fr. Bellarmine, in whose name and memory, the tournament is being held.

          For the intermission numbers, the High School Faculty performed a cheer dancing exhibition and a member of the Grade School faculty performed a fire dance.

          After the intermission numbers the participants took the oath of sportsmanship lead by Mr. Jun de Lara of the Grade School Department.

          The ceremonial toss was done by Fr. Anscar and Ms. Geraldine Thelma A. Baricaua, VP and Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences, after which Fr. Anscar declared the tournament open.
