Innovative Courses & Relevant Curriculum
The CAS, as a provider of innovative academic programs that are attuned to the needs and demands of the times, believes
in the development of effective organizations and individuals as the unifying focus of its mission.
In the context of advancing the development of organizational and individual effectiveness, the CAS provides major
academic programs in business management, information technology, information management, accountancy, international
studies, psychology, and mass communications, giving students the knowledge and skills they will need to succeed.
The major academic programs are complemented with subjects that round out students’ experiences of the totality of human
life. The Peace Studies & Human Rights, and Sociology with Gender Issues are subjects that provide progressive, socially
relevant directions. The Benedictine Lay Formation program and the Religious Studies courses impart the essential
Benedictine values that differentiate the CAS graduates from the others. The Humanities and Liberal Arts curricula
