Peace!
I am very proud to announce the success of our Math Whiz kids, Jason
Joseph Fernandez and Alyssa Rose Absalon at the Asia – Pacific
Mathematical Olympiad for Primary Schools 2009.
The first round of the Olympiad was held at the Ateneo de Manila
University on April 25, 2009. The results of the first round were
released only recently. The second round to be held in Singapore was
postponed indefinitely due to the Influenza A(H1N1) virus outbreak in
Singapore.
Jason won a GOLD MEDAL and Alyssa a BRONZE MEDAL. They were 40
participants from different schools in Metro Manila who took the first
round.
I wish to congratulate Jason Joseph Fernandez and Alyssa Rose Absalon
along with their coaches Ms. Lormita Castillo and GS Math Teachers for
their outstanding performance.
The Bedan community is very proud of you.
May God continue to bless you for bringing honor and glory not only to
yourselves but also to San Beda, our country and God.
