Peace!
I am very proud to announce the successful holding of the 1st San Beda
College Alabang Inter-School Swimming Cup, held on August 1, 2009.
This first ever Inter-school swimming event, organized by our school,
attracted 418 swimmers from 88 participating schools all over Luzon.
My congratulations and thanks go to the dynamic parents and coaches of
our swimmers, including the administrators and personnel, for
efficiently managing this swimming event. I commend their dedication,
commitment and sacrifices to make this event a memorable success.
I wish to thank too the event sponsors for their full support and
cooperation.
In particular, I would like to thank our swimming team and their
coaches. Their dedication and commitment to swimming resulted in getting
the OVERALL CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY. They collected a total of 46 medals: 16
gold, 20 silver and 10 bronze medals.
Coach Dondon, Assistant Coach Genesis and our Bedan swimmers deserved
our congratulations. You must know that the Bedan community is very
proud of you. For by getting the overall championship and the individual
medals, you gave honor and glory not only to yourselves but also to San
Beda, our country and God!
