TO OUR BELOVED PARENTS,
Peace!
We have received an official report that we have one confirmed case of AH1N1.
Following the revised DOH guidelines on Response Levels Systems in Schools,
please be informed that classes in Basic Education and the College of Arts &
Sciences in San Beda College Alabang will be suspended until Saturday, July 4,
2009. Per recommendation from the Department of Health, the number of days
when the school will be closed is reckoned from the date when the confirmed case
last reported to school.
This would enable the school to do intensified general cleaning and to disinfect
all classrooms and public places inside the campus. All students are enjoined to
check the school website (www.sanbeda-alabang.edu.ph)
where other instructions and learning continuity modules may be posted. Further,
missed class days will be made up for during the academic year.
We would like to take this opportunity to remind all parents that students who
manifest influenza-like symptoms must be kept at home and closely monitored to
minimize the spread of the influenza virus.
Classes in Basic Education and the College of Arts & Sciences and work in all
offices will resume on Monday, July 6, 2009.
Wishing you God’s blessing of love and peace, I am
Clement Ma. H. Roque, OSB
Rector-President
